The Air Jordan 1 Low is the latest Nike silhouette to receive the “Sashiko” treatment. Embodying the Japanese concept of Wabi Sabi, upcoming pairs feature white canvas and distressed denim uppers with exposed stitching stretching over the raw-hemmed overlay panels.
Jordan ball-and-wing logos are embroidered on the heel and black tumbled leathers are used for the lateral Swoosh and heel counter. Cork insoles feature mismatched graphics and debossed Jump-man logos decorate the tongue tab. Rounding out the design are aged midsoles and black rubber outsoles.
